Sometimes there can be a freeze or glitch during the auto update process. It typically occurs if your computer is low on RAM.
To fix the issue, please “force quit” the Social Prospector app on your computer to close out the frozen app. You can use this link as a reference on how to force quit:
After you force quit, you can manually download the latest version of Social Prospector and this will bypass the issue.
