🔁 Fixed: Follower and Un-Follower runs stopped straight away and followed nobody
- You would press start, see "Checking which accounts you already follow", and the run would end almost immediately having done nothing. A list of hundreds of people would finish with zero follows.
- The cause was on Instagram's side, but the app handled it badly. Instagram started refusing one of the lookups the app uses to find a profile, and the app treated that refusal as a reason to abandon the whole run rather than simply trying the other way it already knows.
- It now uses that second route, which is working normally. Measured before release against the exact accounts that were failing: every one of them resolved.
🛟 Fixed: a stopped run can no longer quietly use up your list
- When the app cannot check a profile at all, it now leaves that person untouched so a later run picks them up again. Before, there was a risk of marking people as handled when nothing had actually been checked, which would have used up a list without contacting anybody.
- Your position in a list is only ever advanced for people the app genuinely dealt with.
🛑 New: it stops itself if Instagram really is throttling you
- If profile lookups are refused three times in a row, the run stops and says so, rather than working through a long list getting nowhere.
- If a follow is accepted but has no effect twice in a row, which is what a quiet restriction on your account looks like, the run stops immediately. That limit cannot be dismissed, because it exists to protect the account.
- The "already following" skip is unchanged and still free: people you follow are skipped without using any of your Instagram allowance.
