🆕 New: build a broadcast list from the people who just followed you
- Your newest followers are your warmest prospects, and until now there was no way to reach just them. The followers list Instagram gives us comes back in roughly the order people followed, but with no dates attached, so "everyone who followed me this week" was not a question Social Prospector could answer.
- It can now. There is a New Followers option at the top of the broadcast list sources, on Pro, Premium and Platinum. It reads Instagram's own activity feed, which is the only place that records when somebody followed you, and turns it into a list you can message. Pick the last 24 hours, 7 days, 14 days or 30 days, or take everyone on the timeline, and optionally narrow it to people you have not followed back.
- Every person in that list is checked as still following you at the moment the list is built. That matters for more than tidiness: Instagram refuses to deliver a voice note or an image to someone who has not accepted you, and following you is what lifts that block. So a New Followers list is the one audience where an attachment reliably arrives, and it does not raise the follow-first warning.
- One thing worth knowing. Instagram only shows recent activity, so the first sync cannot reach back further than that window. Each sync adds to what is already stored, so your history grows from the day you start rather than arriving complete. Sync once now and it starts building.
💬 Fixed: "Send If A Conversation Already Exists" now matches the audience you picked
- When you set up a campaign, this setting decides whether to message people you have already spoken to. It defaulted to sending regardless, which is the safe answer for a cold list you scraped from somebody else's followers, and the wrong one for your own followers, where the people you have already talked to are exactly the ones you do not want to message again.
- It now reads where the list came from. Point a campaign at your own followers and it defaults to skipping anyone you already have a conversation with. Point it at a cold or unlabelled audience and it behaves as before, sending regardless, because we cannot tell who is already in your pipeline. You can still change it by hand either way, and once you do, your choice is what sticks.
- Also fixed alongside it: choosing an option in that section could quietly overwrite a send delay you had already typed in. If you set a delay, it stays set.
