Social Prospector IG v0.0.60

🔀 Fixed: a brand new pipeline showed its columns in the wrong order

  • When you created a new pipeline, its columns came out shuffled. "Pipeline 1" could appear in the third slot, "Pipeline 2" in the first. The names were right and nothing was lost, but the board did not read left to right in the order you set it up, which makes a pipeline hard to trust at a glance.
  • The cause was that a new pipeline's columns were saved without any record of what order you created them in. With nothing to sort by, Social Prospector fell back to guessing from each column's internal ID, and those IDs are essentially random, so the order came out random too. Columns you had reordered by hand were unaffected, because moving one writes the order down. It only hit pipelines that had never been touched since creation.
  • New pipelines now record their column order at the moment they are created, so they render exactly as you built them. Adding a column later also pins the order of the columns already on the board first, so the new one lands on the end instead of pushing its way into the middle.
  • Pipelines you already have are untouched and keep whatever order they are in. If one of your existing pipelines is in a strange order, drag a column left or right once and the corrected order sticks from then on.
