Social Prospector IG v0.0.59

🔇 Fixed: voice notes and images were being silently thrown away on cold audiences

  • Instagram refuses to deliver any attachment on a conversation the recipient has not accepted. If those people do not follow you, your voice note or image is rejected outright and only your text arrives. Nothing told you this was happening, so a campaign could look like it sent perfectly while the part you actually recorded never reached anyone.
  • We confirmed this against Instagram directly rather than assuming it. The same voice note was sent to three people: refused on a pending request, refused on someone who had never been contacted, and delivered the moment that person followed back. So the block lifts when they follow or accept you, which also means turning on follow requests does not fix it on its own.
  • Social Prospector now warns you before you build that campaign, and tells you which account's followers the list came from. You can remove the attachment and send text only, which does get delivered, or send it anyway if you want to. There is a "don't warn me again" tick box if you would rather not be asked for that kind of audience again.

🗂️ Your broadcast lists now remember where they came from

  • Until now a saved list was just a name and a set of people. The account you scraped it from was known while it was being built and then thrown away, so afterwards there was no way to tell your own followers from a competitor's.
  • New lists record it. Lists built by merging two others inherit it, and a list built by excluding people from another keeps whatever the original list was. That is what lets the warning above know whether an attachment can actually be delivered, and it is decided when the list is created, so switching Instagram accounts later does not quietly change the answer on a list whose audience never changed.
  • Lists you already had cannot be labelled after the fact, so those get a quieter note beside the attachment buttons instead of an interruption, and they never block you.
  • The existing "send without following them first" warning now stays quiet when you are messaging your own followers, because those people already follow you and there is nothing to warn about.
