Social Prospector IG v0.0.50

๐Ÿ“จ Messages now reach business and creator accounts

  • Instagram broke one of its own lookups for business-category profiles, and it has been failing quietly since July. Screening one real audience, 283 contacts out of 1196 were affected.
  • Those accounts were perfectly reachable. The app just could not resolve them, and reported it as "no Message button on this profile".
  • It now resolves them a second way when Instagram's first route fails, so those sends go through.

๐Ÿงพ Failures tell you the truth about why

  • An account that has been deleted or renamed now says exactly that, instead of blaming a missing Message button.
  • That distinction matters: the app remembers accounts it can never reach and skips them in future campaigns. Contacts were being written to that list under a reason that did not apply to them.
  • Every failure now records what Instagram actually said, so a problem on their side is no longer indistinguishable from one on yours.

๐ŸŽฏ Fewer contacts wrongly marked unreachable

  • Because the lookup failure looked identical to "this profile cannot be messaged", healthy accounts were being permanently skipped.
  • Resolution is checked twice before a message is sent, so a near-match on a similar username can never reach the wrong person.
  • Handles typed with a leading @ are now understood rather than silently skipped.
