Your daily send count now varies, and some days it takes off entirely
Last release stopped the automatic Follow-Up Nudge from starting at exactly the same time every day. Two things about it were still perfectly regular: it sent exactly your daily limit every single time, and it never missed a day. Both are patterns, and patterns are what get noticed.
Two changes:
The number varies. Each day the tool picks somewhere between 60 percent and your full limit. Set 10 and you will see days of 6, 7, 9, 10. It never goes above the number you set. That figure is a ceiling you chose, and it stays a ceiling.
Some days it does not run. Roughly one day a week, the tool takes the day off. When that happens the run status says "day off" so you know it decided that on purpose rather than something going wrong.
Neither is a setting you need to touch. If you have the daily auto-run switched on it just starts behaving this way.
Worth knowing before you look at your numbers: across a week this works out to fewer messages than before, around seven a day where you used to get a flat ten. That is the point rather than a side effect. Sending less, less predictably, is what keeps an account healthy, and an account that stays healthy sends more over a month than one that gets restricted.
If you would rather it ran every single day at full volume, that is still what happens when you run it by hand. These changes only affect the unattended daily schedule.
The app updates itself, no action needed.
